According to Fightful Select, a source has indicated that Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, and AJ Lee are all expected to be backstage at Madison Square Garden for tonight’s show.
Reigns last appeared back on the September 29 episode of Raw, where he attacked The Vision during their match with The Usos. Morgan has been out since undergoing shoulder surgery back in June and Lee was last seen at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 when she and CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in tag team action.
Also there have been rumors circulating that Solo Sikoa’s opponent tonight in The Last Time Is Now Tournament, is Joe Hendry, who recently signed a full-time WWE deal. However, a source noted to Fightful Select that Hendry has not is not in New York and is not expected to be the mystery opponent for Sikoa.
Tonight’s show will see John Cena opening the show, Becky Lynch defending the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title against Maxxine Dupri and Nikki Bella revealing the reason she turned last week on WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Plus, The Last Time is Now Tournament First-Round Matches, to include Gunther vs. Je’Von Evans. Gunther has been out of action since dropping the World Title at SummerSlam, as he underwent successful nose surgery.
