WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on Sunday teased on social media, the possibility of Chris Jericho returning to the company during tonight’s Raw.
During his weekly run down of Monday’s lineup on Sunday, when talking about the three title matches for the show, Pearce asked, “Who can break the walls down and claim the gold?”
There were multiple outlets reporting last week that Jericho’s AEW contract expired on January 1, 2026, while others noted his deal was up December 31, 2025. Jericho’s last appearance on AEW TV was the April 9 episode of Dynamite, where he essentially had disbanded The Learning Tree faction, also consisting of Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

Former WWE backstage interviewer Jonathan Coachman said in a recent X post that Jericho will not be at tonight’s Raw and is that his sources say Jericho will make his return to WWE at the Royal Rumble with a whole new look.
