We go right to the show, as the music of Jon Moxley hits as Marina Shafir slaps him backstage. He makes his way out from the hallway and through the crowd.
Next up, the music of Anthony Bowens, as he makes his way to crickets.
AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match: Jon Moxley vs. Anthony Bowens
The bell rings as we are underway. Mox double flips off Bowens, which gets him angry. He takes Mox to the corner and puches and kicks him, then nails him in the back of the head, sending him to the mat. Mox recovers and comes back with a big forearm and then a punch to the head of Bowens. Mox uses the ropes to choke out Bowens. Mox slaps Bowens, but he comes back and sends Mox over the top rope and to the floor. Mox is sitting in a chair at ringside. He gets up and walks up the steel steps, but Bowens cuts him off. Bowen allows Mox to get back in. Bowens applies a headlock on Mox as Mox attempts to get out of the hold. Bowens snaps Mox down and rolls him up for only a two count. Mox comes back and bites Bowens in the forehead. Mox lays big rights into Bowens as the fans count along. Bowens then reverses it and nails Mox in the head with a series of rights. The ref calls for the break, as Mox rolls to the floor. Bowen follows, as Mox nails Bowens in the throat. The fight is taken over the barricade and into the crowd.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Mox has Bowens in a headlock in the center of the ring. Bowens falls to the mat, as Mox works on the left arm of Bowens. Mox sends Bowens down to the mat and covers him for only a one count. Mox grabs the wrist and bends the arm of Bowens. Mox and Bowens exchange blows. Both men run the ropes. Bowens nails Mox with a big kick, sending him down. Bowens grabs Mox and nails him, but Mox fires back with a big forearm on Bowens. Both men exchange blows. Mox kicks and then headbutts Bowens. Bowens pump kicks Mox, then sets up Mox on the top rope. Bowens superplexes Mox, as both men are down! The ref begins the ten count. Both men are up, as Mox drops Bowens with a big cutter. Bowens comes back with a kick on Mox. Bowens drops Mox on his head. Bowens covers Mox, who kicks out at two! Bowens kicks Mox and then tries for a famasser, but Mox locks up Bowens, who rolls over to the bottom rope to break the hold. The fight goes to the floor. Bowens back body drops Mox on the floor! Bowens grabs a steel chair. Bowen looks at the chair, swings at Mox, but he moves. The action goes back to the ring. Bowens rolls up Mox for only a two count! Bowens nails Mox with two big rolling elbow strikes! Bowens hits Mox again! Bowens covers Mox, but he kicks out at two and applies a choke hold on Bowens, who can’t get to the ropes. Mox drops Bowens with a death rider and covers him for the win.
Winner by pinfall: Jon Moxley
After the match, Will Opsreay hits Mox from behind with a hidden blade! Ospreay grabs a chair, as the rest of the Death Riders come in to make the save. Ospreay grabs a mic and tells Mox this is not personal. Ospreay tells Mox that he usually gets Claudio to injury others with a chair. Ospreay says he wants his neck. Ospreay says he will be seeing Mox at Dynasty. Ospreay says lets make a change. When the title is on the line, there is no one at ringside…Ospreay grabs the title and says he will leave it for him. It is then announced Moxley will defend the title against Ospreay at Dynasty.
We go backstage with the Don Callis Family – Okada, Mark Davis and Andrade. They talk about Kyle Fletcher being injured. Okada says tonight’s match is about revenge.
The music of the Divine Dominion hits, as they make their way to ring. Their opponents are already in the ring.
AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) vs. Ava Lawless and Kristara
Bayne and Ava start off. Bayne picks up Ava and slams her down. Bayne drags Ava to the corner and suplexes Ava. Kross is tagged in. Ava Kristara are taken apart in the ring. We get a double clothesline. Kross grabs Kristara and slaps and chops her. Bayne German Suplexes Kristara, as Ava comes in and tries to fight back. Bayne connects with a big kick on Kristara, turned to a German Suplex. Kross drops Kristara with the Divine Intervention for the win.
Winners by pinfall: Divine Dominion
We go to a backstage vignette with the Death Riders. Jon Moxley addresses Will Ospreay.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break, we go backstage with The Hurt Syndicate. MVP says they are here and Bobby Lashley is cleared for action. MVP says its time to add a new member and business is about to pick up.
Back in the arena, the music of Willow Nightingale hits, the TBS Champion makes her way out and down to the ring.
Her challenger – Hikaru Shida! The former AEW Women’s World Champion makes her way out and down to the ring.
AEW TBS Championship Open Challenge: Willow Nightingale vs. Hikaru Shida
The bell rings, as both women shake hands. Both women lock up as we get a clean break. Willow sends Shida down with a shoulder block. Shida gets up and attempts to sends Willow down. Shida then comes back drops Willow. Shida climbs the ropes, but Willow pulls her down and lays rapid fires shots into Willow…Shida nails Willow in the back of the head, sending her down. Shida covers Willow, who kicks out at two. Willow then comes back with a big pounce on Shida, sending her to the floor. Willow then connects with a big cannonball on Shida, who drops to the mat on the floor.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, the action is on the apron. Shida attempts to suplex Willow, but she counters. Shida comes back and kicks Willow in the head, as she falls to the outside. Shida grabs a chair and uses it as a launching pad to connect Willow with a knee strike between the eyes. Shida lays right hands on Willow and then sends Willow back in the ring. Shida climbs to the top and comes down with double knees on Willow. Shida hits the champ in the back. Willow comes back and drops Shida with a spinebuster. Willow rolls up Shida for a two count. Willow drops Shida with a death valley driver and cover Shida for only a two count! Willow goes to the top rope and goes for a moonsault, but Shida moves! Shida connects wi with two knee strikes on Willow and covers her for a two count! Shida connects with an elbow strike on Willow, who then backslides Shida to get the three count.
Winner by pinfall and still AEW TBS Champion: Willow Nightingale
After the match, Shida thinks about using the kendo stick on Willow, but then pulls back, as Willow gives her a thumbs up.
