Nino de Acero Suffers Broken Leg
CMLL mini Nino de Acero fractured his femur bone on a dive during his match Monday night. The surgery to repair the leg lasted 6 hours and was a success. Nino hopes to be back by November.
Mistico Returning To Japan In May Along with Dragon Rojo Jr.
Mistico will be returning to New Japan on May 3rd and 2 Lucha Magazines are reporting that Mistico will be facing whoever the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion is at that time for the belt! Dragon Rojo Jr. has also been announced for that card. This will be his debut in Japan.

– This is the biggest show so far of the year for AAA and will be the biggest until Triplemania.
– They are using the Four Way matches in the Rey de Reyes for the 2nd straight year and the 8th year in total (different type tournament were used from 2003 until 2007). I will be doing a little bit of the history of Rey de Reyes the week of the event.
– In the tag match it’s expected that Cibernetico will be returning to team with Charly and a new foreigner will be teaming with Zorro.
– Of course the stipulations in the semi-main are that if Konnan loses then Rivera loses his hair and if Vampiro loses than Roldan loses his hair.

ROH Bringing in Luchadors for Wrestlemania Weekend Shows
Ring of Honor has been talking about bringing in luchadors for quite some time and is finally pulling the trigger for their Wrestlemania weekend shows in Houston this year. ROH will be bringing in Incognito, Magno, Alex Koslov, and Blue Demon Jr. for the weekend shows. Blue Demon Jr. is a legendary luchador and one of the greatest of all time. He is the adopted son of legend Blue Demon and has competed all over Mexico most notably in CMLL. On October 25, 2008 Demon defeated NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Adam Pearce, to become not only the first Mexican to ever win the Championship but also the first masked man to ever win it. Demon continues to reign as the NWA Champion and is also the President of NWA Mexico. Incognito is freelance (INDY) luchador mostly none from his appearence in TNA’s 2006 World X-Cup as part of Team Mexico. Incognito also has competed in AAA in Mexico and CHIKARA in America. He won both the King of the Trios (with El Pantera & Lince Dorado) and the Rey de Voladores (King of Rockets) Tournaments in 2008 in CHIKARA. Magno also competed in the 2006 World X-Cup alongside Incognito and has competed all across Mexico and America as a Freelancer. Alex Koslov is currently a part of D-Generation MEX (along with X-Pac & Rocky Romero) in AAA. Koslov was a long time member of the CMLL roster and was one of their most over foreigners. Koslov competed in the 2008 World X-Cup in TNA as a part of Team Internataional (as he hails from Russia).
Ricky Reyes Going for WWC Junior Heavyweight Title
Former Havana Pitbull and current WWC star, Ricky Reyes, contacted me this week via e-mail and let me know that Carlos Colon would be bringing back the WWC Junior Heavyweight Championship (which has been vacant since December 2007) and Ricky will be fighting for the Championship on March 7th! No word on who his opponent or opponents will be.
