Morishima & Ishimori Set to Defend AAA Titles in Japan
Takeshi Morishima & Taiji Ishimori will defend their newly won AAA World Tag Team Championships for the first time on 04/10 in Tokyo, Japan against the team of Genba Hirayanagi & Takeshi Rikioh.

This weekend AAA stars Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero took part in ROH’s WrestleMania weekend shows. On the 03/26 “Phoenix Night 1” card Koslov got the pin on his former D-Generation MEX partner after he countered a Superplex off the top into a rollup for the pin.

First Matches Set for DGUSA’s Canada Shows

Coming off the heels of Dragon Gate USA’s WrestleMania weekend shows they have already revealed the first matches announced for the DGUSA debut in Canada on May 7th and 8th. On 05/07 at the “Open the Northern Gate” show in Windsor, Ontario, Canada BxB Hulk & PAC will team up to face YAMATO & Shingo Takagi! Also, on 05/08 at the “Uprising” event BxB Hulk will defend the Open the Freedom Gate Title against Masato Yoshino! Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, Jimmy Jacobs, & Mike Quackenbush have already been confirmed for the 05/07 date while Naruki Doi, PAC, Shingo Takagi, Jimmy Jacobs, & Mike Quackenbush have been confirmed for 05/08.

– The opening match was in fact the one taped for the new A&E Reality Show which will star Bob Sagget. It wasn’t revealed what the name will be but they did say that it’s about young wrestlers trying to make it big. Luke Hawx will be one of the stars of the show. Bob Sagget was the ring announcer for the match. YAMATO got the win with a Brainbuster.
– Genki Horiguchi was supposed to be Susumu’s partner but wasn’t there so KAGETORA tagged with him instead. They got the win over Quack & Jig after a Tiger Driver DDT.
– YAMATO was out again, this time against TJ Perkins and YAMATO gets the win with a Rear Naked Choke.
– Kendrick got the pin in their tag match with a rollup. Teddy Hart then came out and had an altercation with London & Kendrick that caused them to jump Hart!
– Yoshino & Shingo was said to have been a great match.
– L.A. Park & Rey get the win in their match after Gallo low blowed Park.
– Hulk got the clean win over Doi with the E.V.O.P. to retain his belt.
– Jack Evans said that Teddy Hart may have a broken clavicle and he wants London & Kendrick in some form tomorrow night. In the Trios Match CIMA got the pin on Max Buck.

2 More Teams Announced for King of Trios

This week CHIKARA revealed 2 more teams for this years annual King of Trios Tournament. The first new team will be called Team Delicioso and will consist of Captain: Cassandro and Los Ice Creams members, El Hijo del Ice Cream & Ice Cream Jr., in what’s being described as the oddest trio in the bunch. Cassandro is of course one of the most popular “exoticos” in all of a lucha libre along with being a former star in AAA. The next team represents Japan’s BJW (Big Japan Wrestling). Captaining the team will be Daisuke Sekimoto alongside partners Yuji Okabayashi and Kankuro Hosino in his U.S. debut. This raises the number of teams to 14 teams with 2 more yet to be named. Lucha Matches Set for ROH This Weekend
ROH has announced their card for the 04/03 “Big Bang” show in Charlotte, North Carolina (which will be an iPPV or Internet PPV available on www.gofightlive.tv for $14.95). The first match will see Cassandro go one-on-one with Magno. Then, a huge tag match pitting two teams consisting of legends against each other. It will be the original Misterioso teaming with Blue Demon Jr. to face L.A. Park’s uncle Super Park and the original Solar!

Super Crazy Competes in Saipan for All Japan
This past weekend Super Crazy wrestling with All Japan Pro Wrestling at their Saipan show (“Love In Saipan 2010”). Crazy teamed up with AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Kaz Hayashi, on the 03/27 show in Saipan to defeat the team of Tetsuya Bushi & KAI in tag team action.
