Due to tonight’s preemption of WWE Superstars due to baseball, Tonight’s recap will be in a different format for this week only.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston W/Joe Hennig Defeats Trent Baretta W/Caylen Croft
Tonight’s opener came from the Smackdown brand, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston taking on the Dudebusters Trent Baretta. The match begin with a back an forth battle before a distraction by Croft gave control to his Dudebusters teammate before commerical.Baretta continued his control on Kingston when we returned from commercial, He wore the champion down but was unable to finish him off with his pin attempts. Finally a big crossbody by Kingston gave the champ an opportunity to make his comeback. Baretta tried to regain control but was unable to stop Kingston’s momentum, The champ finished his opponent off with the Trouble in Paradise for a 3 count and a victory!

Primo Defeats Yoshi Tatsu / The Great Khali attacks Primo
Raw’s opener was a contest between Superstars regulars Primo taking on the high flying Japanese superstar, Yoshi Tatsu. Primo took control early on in the contest beginning the wear down process on his opponent. Yoshi made an attempt to gain control with a kick to the thigh but was unable to stop his opponents momentum and was put in a camel clutch submission. The match didn’t last much longer as the crafty Primo was able to capitalize on Yoshi’s next comeback attempt and pull the tights for a rollup and a victory. After his victory, Primo was gloating about his tactics but was surprised by an appearance by The Great Khali who hit him with the Punjabi Plunge to the delight of the crowd.

The Uso Brothers W/ Tamina Defeats Goldust and Mark Henry
The Main Event for the evening was a tag team contest, Veteran’s Goldust and Mark Henry taking on the newest WWE tag team The Uso’s in their debut. The Vets started off strong with some good teamwork against the inexperienced Usos. Mark Henry went for a big splash and missed which gave the Uso’s a chance to gain control and ware down Henry. Henry was able to overpower the Uso’s and make the big tag who Goldust who went on a tare against the young tag team. All four men were in the ring which gave Tamina a chance to trip Goldust while the ref was distracted to secure a big debut for her tag team.
