Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us back and bring us into the Royal Rumble numbers video.
Chris Jericho’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring in a suit. Jericho says it’s insulting and nauseating to listen to the likes of John Cena, Triple H, Kane, and every WWE Superstar spill their propaganda filled with regurgitated mishmash on how they?re going to win the Royal Rumble. They insist on stuffing their grandiose agendas down our hypocritical throats. The men are liars, just like us. Jericho says he’s an honest man and always tells the truth. The truth is this Sunday he will add another accomplishment to his already impressive list of accolades as he guarantees he?ll win the Royal Rumble and go on to main event WrestleMania. It’s axiomatic that he?ll win because he’s the most critically acclaimed performer in the company and the true baddest man on the planet. He’s also the best in the world at what he does.
R-Truth’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. R-Truth asks what’s up and Chris Jericho looks flabbergasted. His face is hilarious. R-Truth says Jericho is right ? he’s the best at what he does? which is the best at being the most arrogant loud mouth. He runs his mouth all the time, and is annoying and aggravating. He’s like that pimple that always appears at the wrong time. Lame. He’s the guy people hate to see coming but love to see going. Jericho says he’s an honest man but that’s a lie as well? which makes Jericho a liar. Wow. R-Truth hates to burst his bubble but this Sunday he’s winning the Royal Rumble and he?ll main event WrestleMania. R-Truth says it’s sad but true. If he gets the chance he?ll be the one to eliminate Jericho. That’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the ? Jericho attacks and R-Truth punches back. He hits a jumping heel kick to the face and Jericho gets out of the ring holding his face.
Coming up next it will be Matt Hardy taking on David Hart Smith.

Mike’s Thoughts
This was a pretty average show but at least we had a match that had some bearing on something. It’s not much but Chris Masters earned a spot in the Royal Rumble. We also saw a good promo from Chris Jericho and R-Truth got a good moment in there as well. Other than that there’s not much else to comment on.
