“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…” The WWE video leads us into the show.
The Superstars video plays and we’re brought into the arena with some fireworks. Jack Korpela and Matt Striker welcome us to the show and we’ll open up with the Smackdown portion of the show.
JTG vs. Tyler Reks
They lock up and Reks quickly powers him to the corner. They get a clean break until Reks shoves JTG a few times. JTG fights back and avoids a Reks splash. JTG dropkicks him to the corner and Reks quickly puts himself through the ropes to keep JTG away. Reks kicks him and clubs him down. Reks hits a nice body slam but misses a knee drop. JTG punches but has a whip reversed. They’re really just flopping around the ring right now. This looks terrible. Reks eventually just throws him out of the ring. Reks kicks him in the ribs and drives him into the apron.
Reks puts him back in the ring and hits a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Reks jumps on the lower back and applies a chin lock, which is completely counterproductive to the body part he was working on (lower back). JTG fights up and punches out. Reks blocks a punch and hits a falling club to the chest for a near fall. Reks drops a few knees and shoves JTG into the corner, where he stomps him down. JTG fights back but Reks eventually completely misses a kick and sends him to the corner. JTG rolls him up for a near fall when he charges.
JTG slides out of a powerslam attempt and nearly rolls him up. JTG eventually gets a roll up but Reks powers out at two. JTG hits a head-butt and an uppercut. Reks charges but JTG pulls the top rope down and he falls out of the ring. JTG hits a diving shoulder block off the apron and puts Reks back into the ring. JTG ducks a clothesline and hits a high angle spike DDT for a near fall. JTG gets the crowd into it and goes to the second rope. JTG jumps but Reks ducks and, sort of, big boots him down. Reks hits the Burning Hammer from there and it’s over.
Winner by Pinfall: Tyler Reks

They show the Snooki thing from Raw and then it’s announced that Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella will be in action next.
-Commercial Break-
Scott Stanford and Josh Mathews welcome us back to the show. This is the Raw portion of the show.
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos
Santino will start out against Jimmy and he knocks Santino down. Santino threatens the Cobra and he runs away. They lock up and Santino gets a side headlock applied. Jey is in and he punches at Kozlov on the apron. Santino gets a side headlock applied and he takes him down with an arm drag. Santino applies an arm bar. Jimmy tags in and he body slams Santino. Jimmy hits a head-butt for a one count. Jey tags in and he hits a running butt bump to the face for a near fall. Jimmy gets Kozlov riled up so Jey kicks Santino in the head during the distraction. Jey kicks Santino in the midsection for a near fall. Jey applies a chin lock but Santino fights up, splits under a clothesline, and hits a hip toss.
Both men make tags. Kozlov knocks one of the Usos down and slams him around the ring. Kozlov hits a nice powerslam for a near fall broken up by the other Uso brother. Santino gets thrown out of the ring and the Uso follows him. The Uso runs into a back body drop on the outside and gets on the apron, tagging in. Santino hits the Cobra on the other Uso and picks up the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

Our main event is an 8 Diva Tag Team Match. Oh my god – kill me.
-Commercial Break-
The Raw Rebound airs and it highlights The Miz’s beat down of John Cena following his match with Alberto Del Rio. The Miz truly is awesome. They then run down the WrestleMania card. The picture they showed of Alberto Del Rio is strange – he’s wearing a pseudo-Ric Flair type robe.
The Bella Twins make their way to the ring and I guess from their furrowed brows that they’re full heels now. How interesting…
-Commercial Break-
The Bella Twins, Alicia Fox & Melina vs. Natalya, Tamina, Gail Kim & Eve Torres
I’m so tempted to pull a Dave Stephens and just write, “A divas match happened”. Seriously, this is our main event? At least my favorite referee in the world, Charles Robinson, is the official. Tamina, who is a borderline diva, is in the ring with a Bella. She knocks the Bella down and they lock up again. Tamina, again, knocks her down. Tamina head-butts her down and Alicia Fox is tagged in. Fox kicks her down and clubs away. Fox goes into the ropes and runs into a shoulder block. Gail Kim is tagged in and Fox quickly takes her down. Fox hits a waist lock takeover and before I know it Gail is back in control. Gail hits a dropkick and a clothesline for a two count.
Natalya is tagged in and she hits a double suplex with Gail. Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter but Fox gets to the ropes. One of the Bellas is tagged in and Natalya rolls her up for a two count. Natalya hits a powerslam but gets distracted by the other Bella. The legal Bella chokes her on the rope. Another Bella is tagged in and they take Natalya down. Fox is tagged in and she drops a knee on Natalya. Melina is tagged in and she slams Natalya’s face off the mat. Melina hits a running knee to the face for a two count.
-Commercial Break-
Seriously – a commercial break for this match? I’d rather have watched Tyler Reks vs. JTG get extended, and that’s saying something.
We come back from the break to see the crowd asleep. Melina is tagged in and she punches Natalya down for a two count. Natalya executes an ugly inside cradle for a no count. Melina applies a chin lock but Natalya powers up with her on her back and falls back, breaking the hold. Melina blocks Natalya from making a tag and ducks an enzuigiri. One of the Bellas pulls Eve off the apron and Tamina clotheslines them both down. Natalya clotheslines Melina and tags in Eve, who hits a top rope moonsault for the win. Yes, that was her only move of the match.
Winners by Pinfall: Natalya, Tamina, Gail Kim & Eve Torres

The face Divas celebrate as the heels look upset. No, wait, Melina is smiling for some reason. Oh, who cares?

Mike’s Thoughts
Well it looks like Randy Grubba is getting his wish and Superstars is going off the air in a few short weeks. I can’t say that I’m shocked or surprised by this. It’s no secret that the quality of this show isn’t the best. It features the same people every week and the matches just are never interesting. While Superstars is bad and the plug is getting pulled on it, what is the deal with keeping NXT up and running? NXT, to me, is right up there with the WBF and XFL. It’s an epic failure on so many levels and yet they continue to produce episodes and seasons. That just doesn’t make any sense.
As for this episode, the third to last episode, it wasn’t good at all. Tyler Reks and JTG had a sloppy match mostly due to the fact that outside of tag team work, JTG can’t work at all. There wasn’t anything really wrong with the tag match in the middle – it was just filler stuff though. Still, that should have been the main event. The diva match just wasn’t good. I don’t understand why a division that they obviously don’t give two craps about got almost as much time, if not more time, than the previous two matches. Oh wait, I forgot, they don’t care about this show because it’s going off the air in a few weeks.
