Thoughts

Again another week and another solid Superstars. I am really liking this trend.

Tonight we opened up with Zack Ryder mainly because Raw this week was in Ryder’s home town. A lot of people, especially the IWC aren’t happy about Ryder not being on RAW and being on Superstars instead. I don’t have a problem with it. I prefer Ryder on Superstars, I think him being only on Superstars sort of adds to his character. You got this guy who is widely popular because of the internet. So why not put him on your only internet show? I may get some backlash for that but I think it’s true. Now to the match! I thought it was a good solid match with the sole purpose of putting Ryder over.

Drew came out and delivered a good promo. I think this is a glimpse of Drew’s new character and I like it. Sort of reminds me of Jericho’s parasites angle a year or two ago but I don’t think that will be a problem. The match the two put on was another solid match. Not spectacular but again a good match to put Drew over. I really do hope they do something with Kozlov instead of having him on Superstars to put people over or be there for the comedic value with Santino. I mean I love the comedic stuff, but I think Kozlov has the in-ring ability to be a big player again. Just give him a manager.

The Yoshi-Chavo match I thought was match of the night. It was a good quick back and forth match between the two. But I’m a sucker for matches between little men. By the looks of this and what happened on NXT we are going be seeing a feud between the two.

Finally the main event. I’ve been a fan of Kidd having different managers, but I think getting squashed by Kane isn’t the way to go. I’m calling it a squash because Kidd hardly got any offense in and the match was under 5 minutes, which is way too short for a main event. It sort of feels like that after 2 months of constant supervision by al of these elite people that Kidd would improve and start to come into his own. But then out of no where you stick him with JTG and have him squashed by Kane. Fair enough have him lose to Kane but I mean he could of put up a better fight. I just think it makes Kidd lose a little bit of credibility as this star they are making him out to be.

Well that about wraps this up for the week. If you want send me some feedback, questions, hate or whatever my email is amdy985@hotmail.com – or you can follow me on twitter @amdy985. Thank you all for reading and I will see you all next week!
