Sting Coming to AAA
This week AAA Vice President, Dorian Roldan, announced on his Twitter that the big “TNA star” that has never wrestled in AAA that AAA has been teasing for their upcoming “Heroes Inmortales” PPV in October is in fact former WCW and TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting! He didn’t say who Sting would be facing or in what type of match. This is one of the very few times (I can’t think of a single one actually) where Sting has wrestled in Mexico. “Heroes Inmortales” takes place on October 09, 2011 live on Mexican PPV.
Damian Backtracks on Retirement
At the end of last week Damian 666 & Perros del Mal held a press conference and Damian reneged on his promise to retire later this year and instead said he would be done with extreme style matches in December (where his Electrified Steel Cage Match with Supreme will take place). He will continue wrestling normal matches after that.

Coming off the heels of LL-USA’s most recent TV Tapings LL-USA and Rebecca Reyes are teasing that news on Season 2 of “Masked Warriors” is on the way. PWInsider is reporting that LL-USA told it’s roster that the announcement on Season 2’s start date is coming soon. This is huge news as I had pretty much all but given up hope that Season 2 would ever even happen.
IWRG Strips Champion
Last weekend IWRG announced that they were stripping IWRG Intercontinental Welterweight Champion, CIMA, of the belt. The Dragon Gate star won it last summer but never returned to Mexico to ever defend the belt. This is interesting since I don’t remember ever seeing IWRG strip someone of a title. Hell, there are about 4 IWRG titles that are technically still held by CMLL wrestlers (and one that Mistico still has) that never got stripped. No word on when or if a new champion will be crowned.

– Mini Park revealed that Evil Park was his brother and then he brought out a new Luchadora, Lady Luck, who challenged Rebecca to a Bra & Panties Match.
– Celestial in the 3rd bout is one of the smaller wrestlers that competes for Perros del Mal.
– Lizmark Jr. and Tinieblas Jr. remained partners despite the disension between Sol at the last tapings. During the tag match the two other mysterious Sol members ran down in cloaks and attacked Oriental. Lizmark, Tinieblas, Aguila, and the two other Sol members then stared each other down when suddenly one of the Sol members Superkicked the other! It was Lizmark Jr.’s returning buddy Sydistiko! The other Sol member was revealed to be Anibal Jr. and he and Tinieblas bailed out as Lizmark, Sydistiko, and Aguila stood tall in the ring reforming a new version of Treachery! Lizmark said he would never “bow” down to Tinieblas.
– Brewer retained his belt over his own foe with a handful of tights.
– The Ladder Match was said to have been incredibly impressive.

– With 13 matches and a running time of about 4 hours this was easily CHIKARA’s longest event ever, by necessity obviously (Hurricane Irene forced CHIKARA to turn this weekend’s events into a one-night event).
– In the 2nd Quarterfinal match Wil Maximo of The S.A.T. was replaced by Obariyon for unknown reasons.
– Before Green Ant’s Semifinals Match Tursas came out and attacked him, but eventually Jakob and Tursas had some miscommunication and Green Ant rolled him up for the pin.
– The Young Bucks/Generation Me pulled double duty with Nick Jackson in the YLC and Matt Jackson going one-on-one with Johnny Gargano, and then later they took on the Baitiri in a Tag Match.
– In the Finals Tadasuke got the win to become the first Japanese Young Lions Cup winner.
