Following Texano Jr.’s departure from CMLL last week they have announced that Tiger Kid is replacing Texano in the TRT group with Rey Bucanero and El Terrible. This is a huge push for Tiger Kid, the son of Felino (and brother of Puma King).
CMLL Title Changes Hands in Japan
This past weekend CMLL Women’s Champion, Marcela, lost her belt to Japanese star Ayumi in a defense on a REINA event. Ayumi becomes the 14th champion in the title’s history and Marcela will go down having the shortest reign in it’s history (at one month).

AAA Releases Web Magazine
This week AAA officially launched their first issue of the new Web Magazine “Rudos vs. Tecnicos” digitally on their website (in Spanish of course). * NOTES *
– Sounds like a pretty fun card for the most part.
– Octagon attacked Super Fly on the entrance ramp before the second match. Sugi got dropped on his head during it as well.
– Lider looked like he might pin Abyss when Nicho ran out and attacked him. Nicho then threw a fireball in Tiger’s face. Nicho doesn’t like them.
– Gunner was supposed to face Mesias but he came out with his elbow wrapped and said that Gunner attacked him backstage and the medical staff doesn’t want him to compete. He wanted to anyway but for some reason Konnan said he had to get through Dark Dragon & Tito first. Gunner jumped Mesias before he had a chance to get through them but then Psycho Circus and Joaquin Roldan ran out to make the save. Roldan made the new match Monster Clown vs. Mesias. Tons of interference led to the Gunner win.
– For the second time Jack shocked Perro with a clean pin.
– Octagon fouled Wagner to cause the DQ in the Main Event and then they announced Park vs. Wagner for the Latin America Title for Guerra de Titanes.

– Lider seemed to have Nicho beat in their Street Fight but Halloween came out and helped Nicho get the win. Nicho then took his 187 gear he wore when he and Lider were a team and burned it.
– Hector Garza made his in-ring return with AAA. Evans got the pin on Dragon after a 630. After the match Perro Aguayo Jr. ran out and destroyed Evans with a chair. Drago made his return from injury and saved Evans.
– After the 4th match Joaquin Roldan came out and said he had some new rules. Every time a luchador yelled at Marisela Pena, interferred in a match, or broke equipment Konnan would be fined $50,000. L.A. Park then immediately walked out and broke a TV monitor (that is beyond awesome) which did not sit well with Konnan.
– La Sociedad announced that Cibernetico was the newest member of the group which Park was not happy about. Park got the win on Electro in the Main Event and then Cibernetico came out and attacked La Sociedad with a chair turning on them. Perros del Mal ran out to make the save but Psycho Circus came out as well to counter them.
DG-USA & EVOLVE Join Forces
This past weekend DG-USA Vice President and EVOLVE owner Gabe Sapolsky announced that Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE would be joining forces together. They will consider the two indy promotions as in the “same universe” and will share rosters and stables. The DG-USA titles will also be defended in EVOLVE and a new EVOLVE Championship will be created in 2012 which will also be defended in DG-USA.
El Hijo del Medico Asesino Signs with WWE
This week El Hijo del Medico Asesino posted a picture of himself holding his WWE contract which he just signed. It was reported (by me and several others) a few months ago that he was going to sign a developmental deal with the WWE but this is the first confirmation of it.
