It?ll be JTG starting out against Dolph Ziggler. They lock up and JTG drags him down. Ziggler ducks a clothesline, they both leap frog one another, and JTG hits a flipping shoulder block. Shad whips him to the other corner and hits a nice T-Bone Suplex. Shad goes for a powerslam but Knox tags in on Ziggler’s foot. The Marine 2 trailer plays. This looks really bad. So the bad guys are fighting the spread of Western Civilization and they fight it by using Western weaponry? Are you kidding me?

Vance Archer is walking backstage. He?ll be in action next.

-Commercial Break-

Did you know fans from all fifty states and twenty-two countries have already purchased tickets to WrestleMania 26?

Josh Mathews and Byron Saxton welcome us back to the show. I like ECW’s new ring announcer. She’s much easier on the ears than the other failure.

Vance Archer vs. Tommy Dreamer

Charles Robinson, my favorite referee, is in charge of the match. They lock up and Archer immediately powers Dreamer to the corner. Archer knees him in the midsection and punches him around. Archer whips him into the ropes and goes for a hip toss but Dreamer counters into an attempt of his own. Archer simply face plants him. Archer kicks at him but Dreamer soon comes back with a dropkick to the knee. Dreamer goes into the ropes and runs into a knee to the midsection. Archer hits some kicks and drops some elbows. Archer punches at the arm and gets a one count. What’s with the tramp stamp?

Dreamer punches and hits the ten punches. Archer pushes him off but Dreamer ducks a clothesline and hits a bulldog.

Dreamer picks him up but Archer punches. Archer goes for a slam but Dreamer counters into a Dreamer DDT for a near fall when Archer gets a foot on the rope. Dreamer goes up top and goes for a frog splash but Archer moves. Archer hits a big clothesline and waits for Dreamer to get up. Archer clotheslines him in the corner and hits a big boot. Archer taunts the crowd and hits a big snap reverse DDT for the win.

Wow ? he’s undefeated on ECW AND Superstars!

Still to come tonight is MVP vs. Jack Swagger.

-Commercial Break-

A video hyping the new WWE Champion Sheamus plays. They did such poor follow-up on him that I?d nearly forgotten he was champion.

Michael Cole and Jerry ?The King? Lawler welcome us back. They then bring us into the Raw Rebound. Raw was a travesty.

Jack Swagger’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He’s in action next.

Jack Swagger vs. MVP

They take some time before locking up. Swagger powers him to the corner and backs up to taunt the crowd. They lock up again and MVP powers him to the corner. MVP taunts Swagger. Swagger comes back with a huge big boot and he locks MVP in a front face lock. MVP fights up and whips him off. Swagger goes over MVP and gets hip tossed. MVP hits a body slam and drops a forearm for a two count.

Swagger then clotheslines him out of the ring again. We?ll take a break here.

Swagger gets an inside cradle but MVP is on the ropes. Swagger kicks away at MVP and clubs away. Swagger puts a hammerlock back on. I?m so tired of the obligatory five minutes of rest holds in matches. Swagger clubs and sends MVP shoulder first into the corner. Swagger then goes outside and uses the apron to put some more hurt on the arms. Swagger then gets back in and uses the ropes to stretch him. Swagger locks on a grounded wrist lock. MVP fights up but he gets kneed. Swagger sends MVP into the ropes but lowers his head and eats a kick. MVP then goes into the ropes and gets clotheslined down for a near fall. Bump of the Night: Mike Knox hitting a HUGE dropkick!

Match of the Night: Cryme Tyme vs. Knox and Ziggler ** ?

Mike’s Thoughts

This wasn?t a bad edition of Superstars. I really enjoyed the opening match. Even though the pairing was strange, Knox and Ziggler were great in this, especially Knox. This guy just continues to impress me with his repertoire. There’s nothing he can?t do. How can creative not get behind this guy in a big way? He should be WWE Champion! Anyone can do it now! The rest of the show was ok at best.

Does anyone else watch Superstars on WGN HD and experience the same choppiness I do? It’s so annoying. Every thirty seconds it chops and it’s happened since the beginning!
