Richie Steamboat is interviewed earlier today. He talks about having a big obstacle. He faces Jinder Mahal in the Semi-Finals. Mahal enters the scene and tells him derka derka and then in English that tonight will be his nightmare.

NXT Gold Rush Championship Semi-Final Match
Jinder Mahal vs. Richie Steamboat

Mahal is out first and puts his rag in a clear box. Steamboat is next. He gazes over the NXT Title belt before sliding in the ring. Mahal finally takes off this jacket before the bell rings. The circle the ring before Mahal starts beating on Steamboat. Steamboat turns the tables with some extra speed over Mahal. He gets a quick pin attempt and goes on offense. It ends when Mahal uses the ropes to his advantage. He goes on the offensive again but Steamboat breaks the lock to regain control. Steamboat and Mahal then begin to chain wrestling. Mahal ends it with a pin attempt. Steamboat is then propped up on the ropes and he drops Mahal to the matt. Steamboat misses a high flying shot and Mahal applies the camel clutch. The crowd starts chanting “tap”, and Steamboat does.

Winner: Jinder Mahal

Bradley Pierce interview Leo Kruger about getting washed in the first round. He says something has been bothering him as he smiles. He’s unintelligible as he says what it is.

Heath Slater’s Open Challenge

Slater comes out to Slate to the crowd. He says his matches against the Raw Legends don’t matter. He gets in the ring and will take anyone in an open challenge from the back. Slater is waiting as we go to commercials.


When we get back, Slater says no one wants to get embarrassed. Regal want to punch him in the mouth. Then the master of the world appears. Scotty 2 Hotty gets in the ring. He gets a huge pop as he’s in his home town. Scotty goes with acrobatic offense on Slater. Slater gets a cheap shot in to turn the tables and gets Scotty on the matt. It ends when Slater throws Scotty into the ropes. He holds himself in the ropes while Slater rubs his jaw. Scotty gets off the ropes and hits Slater. It sets up the worm and the win.

Winner: Scotty 2 Hotty


The Usos vs. The Ascension

The Ascension is out first with flashing lights and creepy music. The Uso are next with their war dance. The bell rings and the two teams go at it. The Ascension gets first blood, but the Usos come back quickly tagging in and out. This ends when a Uso gets his nuts dropped on the middle turnbuckle. The Ascension takes over and goes to work. Both teams are working at a very fast pace. A quick Samoan drop sets up the double tag. The Usos come in hot and take control. They get a Ue-SO chant before getting a stink face. All four end up in the ring. The illegal men gets washed out and Jay Uso gets a good kick in. He goes to the top rope but gets knocked off the top rope by Connor. The ref calls for the DQ. Jay isn’t moving after being dropped to the floor. Jimmy Uso is left in the ring with the Ascension and beat on him before leaving.

Winner By DQ: The Uso’s


Bradley Pierce tries to interview Richie about his loss, but he blows him off. We then cut to Matt Striker who Interviews Camacho and Hunico. Hunico says he had a stomach virus and says the other two got lucky. We then cut to Raquel Diaz in a mirror. She’s quite gaga-rific as she talks about something.


NXT Gold Rush Championship Semi-Final Match
Seth Rollins vs. Michael McGillicutty

Mike is out first. Seth is next. They start in some matt wrestling to start the match. The ref has to separate them. They’re jaw jacking each other before Mike slaps Rollins. Rollins goes on a roll. Mike rolls out and Rollins chases. Rollins sets up a suicide leap onto Mike. Back in the ring, Mike gets a several in and takes control of the match.


Back to the action, Seth has managed to take control of the match again. He blows a move and Mike goes on the offensive. He gets a pin attempt and then attempts a slam. Rollins gets out of it, but gets slammed regardless. Mike gets another pin attempt. He then tries a running move, but doesn’t get it. They lock up till Mike clubs Rollins. Mike sets him up on the top rope for and goes for a superplex. Rollins gets a head butts and slides over him to try to powerbombs him. Rollins gets clubed, but manages to get the powerbomb into the ring post. With a big stomp, Rollins gets the pinfall to move on to the finals against Jinder Mahal.

Winner: Seth Rollins

After the match, Jinder Mahal comes out to the arena. The get hostile before Dusty Rhodes comes out to stop them. After Dusty talks, Mahal tries to get a beating in. Rollins manages to take control and rolls Mahal over the top rope. The two look each other down as the show ends.
