AEW held a taping at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City for its upcoming Dynamite on 34th Street episode, featuring Continental Classic matches, the Dynamite Diamond Ring Final, and more.
The following SPOILERS per PWInsider are from the taping on 12/20, set to air 12/24 (Christmas Eve):
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Orange Cassidy in a Continental Classic match.
- Mascara Dorada defeated Roderick Strong in a Continental Classic match.
- Renee Paquette interviewed AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander and her challenger Jamie Hayter. They got into an argument but were held apart.
- MJF defeated Dustin Waller. A post-match promo by MJF was interrupted by the appearance of Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland, leading to promos from each of MJF’s opponents for Worlds End (including AEW World Champion Samoa Joe on screen) in the midst of Page and Strickland attacking him.
- Bandido defeated Ricochet to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring. The Demand attacked post-match but Brodie King made the save.
- Marina Shafir choked out Mina Shirakawa. Shafir kept working her over after the bell, bringing out Toni Storm. Shafir KO’d her too and walked out.
- In a Continental Classic match, Jack Perry pinned Pac.
