Rush & Diamante Azul of CMLL started their tour of New Japan this week as a part of the NJPW World Tag League Tournament. Rush & Azul got a big win over Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima in their first match (and didn’t hurt either of the guys too!). Since CMLL’s working relationship began in 2010 every CMLL star that has taken part of a Tournament has won his first match in the Tournament (info courtesy of The Lucha Blog)

After the news last week that Extreme Tiger has left AAA, now this week Dr. Wagner Jr.’s son Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (Dr. Wagner III) posted on his Facebook page that his father has left AAA. Wagner Jr. isn’t booked on any AAA shows upcoming until the “Guerra de Titanes” event in December (and he is still listed there) so we will see if he shows up there or not.

Super Crazy Back in Japan
This week Super Crazy & Ricky Marvin returned to Japan after doing several shows in Mexico with their GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles. Crazy & Marvin teamed up with former ROH Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards to defeat Kotaro Suzuki, Atushi Aoki, & Zack Sabre Jr. in a Trios Match on 11/23. Marvin & Crazy will defend their belts against Kanemaru & Genba Hirayangi on 12/09.

– The Shard continued to beat down Fire Ant after the 2nd match so Mike Quackenbush ran out to make the save. Jigsaw then showed up and Superkicked his partner, Quack! Jigsaw and The Shard then left together.
– Waltman & Jannetty beat the Heart Throbs and earned their 3rd point which means they will now receive a Tag Titles shot.
– The Torneo Cibernetico came down to Tim Donst & Kingston against Steen. Kingston eliminated Steen which left just the two members of Team Kingston left but in a Torneo Cibernetico there needs to be one winner so they squared off and Donst pinned Kingston setting up a Grand Championship match at next month’s (12/02) iPPV “Under The Hood” in Philly!
