AEW EVP status on the line for 3/25 Dynamite; Tag Team Title Match announced for Dynasty

The match is set to take place on next week’s Dynamite, live from the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota.

During Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, in a backstage segment, Kenny Omega challenged Swerve Strickland to a match for the number one contendership to the World Title that is currently held by MJF. Later in the show, Strickland came out, cut a promo, accepting the match and dared Omega to also put his EVP position on the line.

If Strickland wins, he will not only be the new number one contender to the AEW World Championship, but he will also be an AEW EVP.

The match is set to take place next Wednesday on Dynamite, live from the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota.

In the closing segment during Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) cut a promo saying that even though they lost against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) at Revolution, they are still going after the World Tag Team Championships.

The Young Bucks were interrupted by Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Copeland told Matt and Nick their match on Sunday against FTR was one of the best had laid his eyes on. Copeland then said he and Cage are challenging FTR for the tag titles at Dynasty on April at Rogers Center in Vancouver, BC. He said it is personal for him, after FTR took out Beth at the All Out PPV. Cage said it was personal for him as well, because being a title holder means he will make more money. This then brought out the world tag team champions who were taken out by both the Bucks and Copeland.
