Ric Flair revealed on social media that he is no longer allowed to have merchandise with Roots of Fight, a company offering clothing inspired by legendary athletes in the world of sports.
Other pro wrestlers who remain on the Roots of Fight include Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, CM Punk, Randy Savage, Rey Mysterio, Andre the Giant, and the Iron Sheik.
The WWE Hall of Famer claims it was the company’s call for him to be removed, leading to some heated words:
Flair followed up with a post stating he will speak with Yahoo! Sports to address the situation further.
Despite being under contract with AEW, Flair has made limited appearances for the promotion, with his Wooooo! Energy drink sponsorship seemingly ended some time ago.
