Ring of Honor Wrestling on Sinclair
July 20, 2013
Baltimore, Maryland (Du Burns Arena)
Commentators: Kevin Kelly, Steve Corino
Recap by: Jason Namako of Wrestleview.com

We start the show with SCUM in a limo taking them to the Du Burns Arena. Steve Corino says next week its Steel Cage Warfare, but tonight its about Matt Hardy. Hardy got us this limo, what has ROH ever done for us? Corino says that Baltimore is known for losers. Their crappy inner harbor, idiots like Ray Lewis and Cal Ripken. Corino asks Hardy if he ever slept with Ripken’s wife. Hardy can’t remember, but he’s sure he has at some point. Corino says that Hardy will defeat Jay Briscoe and become ROH World Champion. Its like my son is winning the World Title. On behalf of SCUM, we are thankful for the hotels and resturants you have let us be, it’ll be our pleasure to strap that World Title around your waist. Hardy says that being reborn like I have been, I’m here to give back. SCUM is like family, you guys are closer to me than my brother. SCUM celebrates in the limo as we go to the usual intro.

We are about to ring the bell for our opening match between Adam Cole against Will Ferrera, but Roderick Strong comes out to the ring and grabs a mic. Strong says that at Best in the World, Adam Cole made a decision that wasn’t as honorable as you say you are. You are the type of guy that shakes everybody’s hand in the lockerroom and tells them that you are their friend, but at Best in the World, you had an opportunity to do the right thing and you didn’t do it. The more I watch, you would think I would be mad, but instead, I was disappointed.

Cole takes the mic and says that since he has started with ROH, he has prided himself with fighting with honor. I have been so obsessed with wins and losses that the chance to be one of the very best by count-out, I took it. So if I disrespected you, Roderick, or this company by not being honorable, I apologize. Cole says to Ferrera that he deserves an opportunity and he would love to face him at some point, but it can’t happen right now because I think the people in Baltimore would like to see a re-match from Best in the World. Ferrera leaves the ring as Cole asks the crowd if they wanna see Cole vs. Strong right now. Crowd does the “YES” chant as Cole says that tonight, he will prove that he has honor.

Bell sounds and we have an impromptu match.

We then see video from earlier today where SCUM arrived at the Du Burns Arena and Matt Hardy signed autographs with the fans. Hardy offered a fan money to rip up a “Fat Hardy” sign, but he refused. Cliff Compton then ripped up the sign anyway as we go to commercial.
