During an interview with Catch-Newz, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about reports regarding WWE Champion AJ Styles battling an undisclosed injury just three weeks before WrestleMania 34 where he is scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura.
Triple H noted the company is always prepared for circumstances like this.
“You always have to have a Plan B and just in case you have a Plan C. So we try to have in mind what would happen. AJ is an incredible performer and saying we would replace AJ Styles would be very difficult. Not necessarily a replaceable talent, but we would do our best. AJ is working diligently on rehabbing his injuries and getting himself in tip-top shape for WrestleMania. We are trying to help him with that process of getting the best care and best rehab and everyone else possible. Right now he says he’s feeling a lot better and will be ready to go. He’s working very hard at it. We’re hoping for the best.”
