Two matches announced for WWE Backlash PPV

Following last night’s RAW, two matches are now set for WWE Backlash on May 6.

This includes the returning Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Miz.

Backlash will mark the first official dual branded PPV featuring stars from both RAW and Smackdown Live starting in May throughout the rest of the year.

Matches announced for next week’s RAW

In addition to announcing the return of the Superstar Shake-Up, two matches were also announced for next week’s RAW from Hartford.

This includes Bayley vs. Sasha Banks and a tag team match featuring “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. The Revival where the winners will advance to the Greatest Royal Rumble to challenge The Bar for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

Regarding the RAW Tag Team Titles, it was revealed during last night’s episode of RAW following WrestleMania that Braun Strowman and Nicholas would be relinquishing the titles. Kurt Angle then setup matches heading into the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27.
