NXT’s Steffanie Newell talks recent return from injury
NXT signee Steffanie “Nixon” Newell recently did an interview with WWE.com talking about her return to the ring in recent weeks from a torn ACL.
Newell was signed by WWE in 2017 after a successful stint on the UK independent scene, but shortly thereafter, tore her ACL and had been out of the ring for several months.
The injury forced Newell to miss the first Mae Young Classic tournament. Newell returned a couple weeks back on NXT live events, teaming with Dakota Kai and most notably winning a match last weekend against The IIconics.
