NXT TakeOver specials reportedly changing start times, Foley show coming to WWE Network

NXT TakeOver

The start time for NXT TakeOver specials is likely to undergo a change, per a new report on Friday by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

It is said that the plan will be to push back the start time of the NXT TakeOver specials from 8:00 PM ET to 7:00 PM ET, with the idea that the show length will be less than three hours. TakeOver specials had been only two hour specials on WWE Network since they began in 2014, but have recently increased to two and a half hours in the last year.

WWE has not publicly confirmed the start time change for NXT TakeOver live specials as of this writing.

Foley show coming to WWE Network

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley held his “20 Years of Hell” comedy special earlier this week to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his famous Hell in a Cell Match with The Undertaker at the 1998 King of the Ring.

Former Impact talent and current NXT backstage attendant Jeremy Borash was the emcee for the event and it is said from live reports that the event was being filmed for an eventual airing on the WWE Network following the Hell in a Cell PPV on September 18.

WWE has not confirmed the special for the Network as of this writing.
