Current WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura recently did an interview with Sky Sports, and shot down rumors he is heading back to New Japan Pro Wrestling.
He says he has not been contacted by NJPW and will likely be re-signing with the WWE when his current contract expires, providing the money is right.
Nakamura will be defending his United States Championship this Sunday at SummerSlam against Jeff Hardy, who brought the title over to SmackDown Live from RAW during the 2018 Superstar Shakeup earlier this year.
