I read your reports on the plans for JBL to be “making history” at Mania and that one about facing CM Punk for the IC Title. Well, I made a little research, and it turns out JBL needs an Intercontinental Title reign to become a Triple Crown Champion so that might be what the “historic” reference is all about.
Note from Adam Martin: We noted in a report yesterday that plans were scheduled for this past week’s Raw to setup an angle between CM Punk and JBL for an upcoming Intercontinental Title match.
