TMZ Sports is reporting that WWE star Charlotte Flair (Ashley Fliehr) is being sued by her ex-husband following claims she made in a book release from 2017.

Riki Paul Johnson, Charlotte’s ex-husband, claims that several false statements were made about him in the book “Second Nature”, including that he was “sterile and incapable of fathering children”, that the book contains “multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse” and wrongly claims he was fired from two jobs over drug use.

Johnson is currently seeking more than $5 million in damages, specifically stating that he was painted as the villain in order to make Charlotte a “victim who overcame personal adversity and domestic abuse.” He also is also claiming WWE is liable as well for marketing the release of the book last September.

While Ric Flair declined to comment, WWE issued the following statement:

“We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves.”
