WWE will present the company’s first-ever all-women’s Pay Per View, Evolution, tonight live on the WWE Network from Uniondale, New York at the Nassau Coliseum.
Three championship matches are set to take place, with the RAW, Smackdown and NXT Women’s Championships all being defended. It should be noted that the NXT UK Women’s Championship was touted at one point to be defended, but has not been officially announced for the card likely due it it not airing on NXT UK TV yet.
Also set for the show is the finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament that has been going on the last few weeks, along with a huge Battle Royal match. The winner of the Battle Royal, which will feature stars from the past and present, will go on to earn a future Women’s Championship match (what title that is has yet to be determined).
As reported earlier, the first 30 minutes of Evolution will air free on Twitter tonight.
