Shayna Baszler defeated Kairi Sane to become the new NXT Women’s Champion at WWE Evolution. Baszler is the first woman to capture that NXT Championship twice.
Towards the end of the match, Sane had to fight off interference from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, aka members of the Four Horsewomen.
While Sane was trying to fight off Shafir at the end, this allowed Shayna to lock in the rear naked choke and Sane faded quickly to award the submission win to Baszler.
