Rhyno addresses retirement rumors, Balor to be replaced on Mixed Match Challenge

WWE has uploaded a video (above) featuring Rhyno addressing rumors that he would be retiring from wrestling after being “fired” from Monday Night RAW.

Rhyno lost a “Loser is Fired” match against Heath Slater last week on RAW and continued to appear at WWE live events during the South American tour.

Rhyno notes in the video he will continue to fulfill his contractual obligations for live events, but isn’t sure where he will end up. So, it would appear WWE will push forward with this storyline for the time being as he continues to appear at live events.

Balor to be replaced on Mixed Match Challenge

WWE.com has announced that Apollo Crews will be replacing Finn Balor on season two of the Mixed Match Challenge series on Facebook Watch.

Crews will now team with Bayley against Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox tomorrow night. Balor left the South American tour early this weekend as reported earlier.

The tournament, which is now in its final stages, will see the winners each earn the always coveted No. 30 spot in this year’s Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble match.
