Former Women’s Champions speak at Evolution Empowerment Forum at Performance Center

WWE has posted a highlight video with former WWE Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze and former Diva’s Champion Eve Torrest speaking at the Evolution Empowerment Forum, which was recently held at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

The entire NXT roster was in attendance at the forum.  The event focused on empowering not only women, but men also.  Topics at the forum included storytelling and branding.

Blayze is a three-time WWE Women’s Champion.  She also appeared in WCW under the ring name of Madusa from 1991 to 1993 and then returned to the company in 1995.  During the Monday Night War, she is most famous for showing up on the WCW Nitro live episode on December 18, 1995 under the ring name of Madusa where she dropped the then WWF Women’s Championship into a garbage can.

Blayze retired in 2001 after WCW purchased by the WWE.  She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015 under the ring name of Alundra Blayze.

Eve Torres is a two-time WWE Diva’s Champion and currently serves as an Ambassador for WWE.  She served on pre-show panel for the first-ever all women’s Pay Per View Evolution last October. Torres is a spokeswoman and head instructor for the Gracie Women Empowered self-defense program and also operates an event rental company named inJOY The Party with her sister-in-law.
