“Fighting With My Family” set to make world premiere debut at Sundance Film Festival

Deadline.com is reporting the new film “Fighting With My Family” is set to make its world premiere debut as a surprise screening at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on January 28.   

The film, which focuses on the life and wrestling career of current WWE star Paige was produced by WWE Studios and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions. 

The report also states this is the first time a Seven Bucks film has been selected to screen at the Sundance Film Festival.  Johnson, his former wife Dany Garcia, Seven Bucks President of Production Hiram Garcia and “Fighting With My Family” writer/director Stephen Merchant will all be attending the festival, along with the cast in support of the film.

Actress Florence Pugh plays Paige, while well known actors Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) plays Paige’s mom, Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) plays Paige’s father and Vince Vaughn plays the official recruiter for WWE.

“Fighting With My Family” will be released under Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios, and is set to release in theaters nationwide on February 14 according to the Internet Movie Database website.
