WWE announced on Twitter Saturday that Rey Mysterio and Andrade “Cien” Almas will square off on this Tuesday’s episode of Smackdown Live which will air on the USA network and will emanate from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
This match was set up as a result of last week’s episode of Smackdown Live episode when Almas and Samoa Joe defeated Mysterio and Mustafa Ali. Almas countered the 619 with a gutbuster and hammerlock DDT to pin Mysterio for the win.
This is the second televised match for Mysterio and Almas. The two had previously faced each other on the November 6, 2018 edition of Smackdown Live with Mysterio defeating Almas to earn a spot on the Smackdown men’s team for Survivor Series.
Wrestleview will have live Smackdown results this Tuesday night beginning at 8:00p.m. ET/7:00p.m. CT.
