Update on The Revival and other WWE contracts, Premiere date for WWE Worlds Collide

The Revival

In an update to a report last week regarding The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) requesting to be released, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the former NXT Tag Team Champions’ deals don’t expire until April of 2020.

As reported earlier, the belief is that WWE is doing all they can to keep talent happy and avoid situations like this. It isn’t expected that WWE will be granting any releases with upstart All Elite Wrestling aggressively signing talent at the moment.

It was also noted in the same report that Matt and Jeff Hardy’s current deals expire some time around March or April. They are both expected to remain with the company for at least another year. Matt and Jeff signed a two year deal back in 2017, with a third year option. Matt Hardy stated recently he has no plans of retiring.
