Bill Watts at WWE Headquarters

Bill Watts was flown into WWE Headquarters last week to get ready for both the 2009 Hall of Fame ceremony and to tape a few specials for the WWE 24/7 network reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. One special that was taped was focused on the history of African-American wrestlers which featured Watts, Dusty Rhodes, Jim Ross, Teddy Long and Tony Atlas. Ron Simmons had been scheduled to take part in the special, but was released and Atlas took his spot. Another special was also taped with Watts and Rhodes looking at the history of Texas pro wrestling.
