Paige on Fighting With My Family, Calming down Nia Jax after Becky Lynch incident

The Los Angeles Times is featuring an interview with WWE star Paige where she talks about the nationwide release of “Fighting With My Family” next week.

Paige talked about the story of the movie being focused on both her family growing up and her eventual wrestling career in WWE.

“It’s a wrestling film, but ultimately it’s about her and her family and the downs, as much as the ups. And that is real life. You don’t get anywhere without losing a lot. That is so truthful about how hard we work to get where we need to be.”

Paige’s current status with WWE is also explored in the article, including Paige having to calm down WWE star Nia Jax recently after she punched Becky Lynch live on RAW.

“I had to calm Nia down from that because she was like, ‘I feel like everyone is mad!’ And I said, ‘You know what? This elevated Becky so much too. And you’re about to turn heel anyways — so who cares? Who cares if the internet’s mad at you?’ They’re always going to be mad at you! There’s a quote I love: You can be the ripest, juiciest peach, but not everyone’s always going to like peaches. It’s just one of those things.”
