According to WWE Network News 20 more episodes of WCW Thunder will be coming to the WWE Network beginning March 18.
WCW Thunder debuted on TBS on January 8, 1998 at 8:05pm ET. The two-hour show ran every Thursday until January 12, 2000 when it was moved to Wednesday’s as a result of a continued decline in ratings due to WWF Smackdown airing opposite at the same time on the UPN Network.
The final episode of WCW Thunder aired March 21, 2001 on TBS after Time Warner announced that Thunder and all WCW programming was immediately cancelled on TBS. This further led to the demise of the company which in the end was purchased by WWF/E.
