The Hart Foundation announced as latest inductees into Class of 2019 WWE Hall of Fame

WWE has confirmed that the Hart Foundation will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame.

The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart) were officially confirmed as the latest inductees for the upcoming Class of 2019 ceremony.

Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart, as described by WWE, symbolized tag team excellence in the 1980s and 1990s.

Excerpt from WWE’s write up about The Hart Foundation’s career below:

Bret “Hit Man” Hart & the late Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart symbolized tag team excellence in WWE in the 1980s and early 1990s. Now, the two-time WWE Tag Team Champions will be forever immortalized in sports-entertainment history.

Hart and Neidhart were no strangers to each other before joining forces. In fact, they’re family: “The Anvil” and “Hit Man” were brothers-in-law. That close connection made them gel almost instantly when they joined WWE’s tag team ranks in 1985, guided by “The Mouth of The South” Jimmy Hart. Hart’s technical prowess and Neidhart’s raw power made them a team to be reckoned with from the moment they debuted.

This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Saturday (April 6) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, with NXT TakeOver: New York taking place the day before.

D-Generation X (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn, “Road Dogg” Jesse James, X-Pac and Chyna), The Honky Tonk Man, Torrie Wilson, Harlem Heat and Sue Aitchison were all announced as inductees prior.
