WWE posted a short clip Wednesday (view above) of WWE Smackdown star Rey Mysterio driving the Honorary Pace Car at the NASCAR Auto Club 400 which took place last month at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.
We previously reported that Mysterio reportedly suffered an ankle injury on RAW this past Monday night in a match against Baron Corbin. However, despite the injury Mysterio is still scheduled to challenge Samoa Joe for the WWE United States Championship this Sunday at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey.
WWE stars appear on Jimmy Fallon
Several WWE stars including Braun Strowman, Carmella and Seth Rollins appeared Tuesday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a segment called “Kid Trash Talk with WWE Superstars” in which the WWE stars read taunts submitted by kids to see if they can make them sound terrifying.
