Rhea Ripley apologizes

Former NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has issued an apology for using a homophobic slur on a recent live stream.

Ripley was recently part of a live stream where users could pay $15 to be insulted in either Spanish or Australian. According to the apology she issued on Twitter, her filter came down and she said some words that are “a big no no to a lot of people.”

There is no word on any further punishment from WWE.
