On last night’s Smackdown Live from Columbus, Ohio, The Hardy Boyz relinquished the Smackdown Tag Team Championships due to Jeff Hardy’s injury.

Jeff Hardy says he needs surgery and will be out for a long time. Matt gets on the microphone and says it breaks his heart having to say this but as of right now, the Hardy Boyz must give up the Smackdown tag team championships. Jeff says by no means is this the end of their journey and when he comes back, once again the Hardy Boyz will reign supreme.
