Mauro Ranallo agrees to new WWE contract

According to a new report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Mauro Ranallo and WWE agreed to a new contract a month ago that will see Ranallo remain as the current lead announcer for NXT. 

Also according to the same report, Ranallo will still be able to continue announce for other combat sports companies.

Ranallo has been with WWE since 2015, and has been the lead announcer for NXT since 2017.

There is no information on the length of Ranallo’s new contract.

NXT star undergoes knee surgery

Current NXT star Dominik Dijakovic announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, in character, that on Tuesday he underwent knee surgery in Orlando, Florida for a torn meniscus that will keep in him out of action.

Dijakovich did not indicate exactly how long he would be out. However, he did note in his  video post that when he returns, he would be stronger than ever and regain the NXT North American Championship.
