Earlier today, TMZ reported that WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital with a medical emergency and described the situation as “very serious.”
Conrad Thompson, Flair’s son-in-law, issued a comment on a media call to refute that report. Flair is in the hospital for a scheduled surgery that is neither grave nor very serious. Flair elected to undergo this surgery before heading out to Las Vegas for Starrcast II, where he will take part in “The Roast of Ric Flair,” one of the signature events at the convention.
Flair went through a very major health situation back in August of 2017 where he was placed in a medically induced coma and described as near death.
