Mickie James revealed on her Instagram account that she has suffered an ACL tear.
James is believed to have suffered the injury over the weekend during a match against Carmella on Saturday in Waco, Texas. The match had to be cut short. She was replaced by Zelina Vega in College Station, Texas on Sunday.
James revealed she got the MRI results on Monday. No timetable has been set for the surgery.
She last appeared on television during the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. James was moved to the Smackdown Live roster, but was not used on television since.
