According to a new report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider and multiple other sources, a new mandate from Vince McMahon for changes to the production of WWE television going forward is that all matches are to end in the same segment and not run over multiple segments.
Also per the same report, the new mandate went into effect at last week’s Monday Night RAW which is the reason why a number of the matches were so short. However, it is also being said that matches with multiple falls would take place per segment.
Johnson also stated in his report that a source indicated the idea of trying matches with multiple rounds, similar to the old European rounds system has also been presented at some point in the last few weeks.
