Jinder Mahal revealed on his Instagram account that he underwent surgery on a ruptured patella tendon.
Mahal revealed that he suffered the injury during a WWE Live Event match on June 15 against Ali in Denver, Colorado. Mahal stated that the surgery went well and his knee was better than expected. No timetable was given on his recovery, though Mahal stated that his comeback “is going to be legendary.”
Mahal has been a WWE Champion, WWE United States Champion, and most recently has been a two-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Mahal was last seen on the June 11 episode of Smackdown Live. Mahal also recently signed a 5-year extension with WWE.
