NXT Superstar Rachel Evers, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering, confirmed on her Twitter account that she suffered a torn ACL.
Evers will undergo surgery on Tuesday and begin the process of rehabilitation on Wednesday.
Evers suffered the injury during a match against Lacey Lane on July 27 at an NXT Live Event in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The match was stopped due to the injury.
There is no timetable announced for her return. Evers said in her Twitter message that her passion in the ring that fueled her “will now push me to return to it.”
