Harley Race laid to rest on Wednesday; WWE names a studio after Mean Gene Okerlund

WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling great Harley Race was laid to rest in his home state of Missouri on Wednesday.

According to a report on PWInsider, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat, Nick Aldis, Curtis Axel, Trevor Murdoch, Dave Lagana, and Ted DiBiase were all in attendance for the funeral.

Race passed away on August 1 at the age of 76 after a battle with lung cancer.

There will be a public memorial service for Harley Race on Sunday, August 11 at the Race Wrestling Arena in Troy, Missouri.

WWE names an audio studio after Mean Gene Okerlund

WWE announcer Scott Stanford posted a photo on his Twitter account showcasing WWE naming Audio Studio Two after the late Mean Gene Okerlund.

Okerlund passed away on January 2 at the age of 76.
