Video: Triple H speaks about the condition of Cole and Gargano following TakeOver: Toronto

Wrestleview.com’s Victoria Tedesco spoke with Paul “Triple H” Levesque (above) during last night’s Post-NXT TakeOver: Toronto conference call with the media.

Triple H talked about the condition of Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano following their brutal 2-out-of-3 Falls NXT Championship match. He also addresses Johnny Gargano’s injury that kept him off the road and if he is fine coming out of the match.

Other highlights include:

— Triple H was asked about Matt Riddle calling out people like Goldberg, Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho on social media recently. Triple H said it’s social media, Riddle is outspoken, and is a big boy.

— Someone asked about another all-women’s PPV. Triple H said they could do that, but it’s better if the men and women all perform on equal ground.

— Triple H was asked about Vince McMahon saying WWE was past blood and guts, yet there was weapons and brutality in the 2-out-of-3 falls match including some blood on Adam Cole’s back. Triple H argued with the caller by saying there was no intentional blood and you cannot count a scratch from a table as “blood and guts”. There was nothing out of the norm that isn’t done on normal WWE television. Triple H said people are just digging deep and coming up with conspiracy theories.
