Following last night’s Smackdown Live, Andrade and Elias have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.
Andrade defeated Apollo Crews to win his King of the Ring 1st Round Match. Andrade pinned Crews after a Zelina Vega distraction. Andrade will face the winner of Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin in the King of the Ring Quarterfinals which take place next week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Elias defeated Kevin Owens after Shane McMahon interfered and made himself the referee for the match to win his King of the Ring 1st Round Match. Elias will face the winner of Buddy Murphy vs. Ali, which also takes place next week on Smackdown Live.
Next week’s RAW will see the conclusion of the 1st Round of the King of the Ring tournament for that brand. Ricochet will face Drew McIntyre, and The Miz will face Baron Corbin.
