Drake Maverick was crowned the new WWE 24/7 Champion on Smackdown Live after pinning Elias.
During tonight’s Smackdown Live, Elias was attacked by Kevin Owens and Drake Maverick took advantage of it to become the new WWE 24/7 champion. Here’s what happened:
Elias turns around and Kevin Owens hits him from behind. The two fight to the ring. Owens hits Elias with the stunner. Owens leaves the ring as Elias is out in the ring.
In comes R-Truth with a referee. He goes for the cover but Maverick pulls him away. Maverick gets in the ring and pins Elias to become the new 24/7 champion.
