Following last night’s episode of Smackdown Live, Chad Gable has advanced to the Finals of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament.
Gable will be facing Baron Corbin in the finals, which will be held on this coming Monday’s episode of RAW from Knoxville, Tennessee. The Finals of the King of the Ring was previously reported to be taking place on the Clash of Champions event this Sunday, but those plans have changed.
Gable defeated Shane McMahon in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match with Kevin Owens as the guest referee. McMahon fired Owens following his loss. Gable was initially supposed to face Elias in the Semifinals, but Elias was forced to withdraw from the King of the Ring tournament due to injury.
